The Sarin Machine by Sarin Technologies - A Sarin machine is a measuring device
(or proportion analyzer) the uses an infrared video unit connected to a computer.
It is capable of measuring the different parts of the diamonds accurately to within 2 to
4 hundredths of a millimeter. It is the most accurate device available for measuring
diamonds. The Sarin machine is a patented precision bench that works in conjunction with very high tech
software. Using visual images of the diamond’s facets, the machine takes two-dimensional photos
to create a three dimensional model of the diamond. Angles are measured with precise detail and recorded.

Sarin Report:
A Sarin Report is the printout of the measured diamond angles, recorded to the 1/100th of a
percentage by a Sarin Machine. It measures diameter, crown angle, crown height, pavilion
angle, pavilion depth, culet size, table size, total depth, and girdle thickness. This report allows
the consumer to compare how well cut a diamond is in relation to the ideal cut proportions for a diamond.
Zero Make Diamonds:
The term "zero" is derived from the American Gem Society’s 0 to 10 grading scale for the
diamond's cut quality. A 0 grade, the highest grade, is given to a diamond that has proportions
falling within the American ideal cut parameters. A Sarin Report may accompany a "zero make"
diamond to give credibility to its excellent cut. The Sarin machine is one of the many ways
we continue to provide the best service and jewelry technology in Oklahoma.
